Halqa gives community organizers a single place to manage members, host events, and collect dues. We built it as a modern alternative to the spreadsheets and group chats most circles still rely on.
Background
Halqa's founders run a network of professional circles in Kuwait. We took their workflow — running on Google Sheets and WhatsApp — and turned it into a clean SaaS tool with member directories, paid events, and recurring dues.
Challenges
Communities are messy: irregular dues, mixed RSVPs, ad-hoc rules. We had to build flexibility into every layer without overwhelming non-technical organizers with options they didn't need.
Outcome
Three communities migrated within the first month. Organizers now run their groups in minutes a week instead of hours, and member retention is measurably up across pilot circles.
